An aspiring Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ayawaso West Wuogon, Davina Sheilla Mensah, has thrown her weight behind the constituency’s reorganisation efforts with a donation of cash and logistics to support party operations.

She described the gesture as part of a broader commitment to help rebuild the party toward victory in 2028.
At a brief presentation to constituency executives, Ms Mensah donated 50 packs of bottled water, 12 chairs for the constituency office, and GH¢10,000 in cash to support administrative and grassroots activities.
According to her, the support comes at a critical moment for the constituency, which she described as being in a rebuilding phase following the party’s loss of the parliamentary seat, emphasising the need for committed members to contribute resources and ideas toward repositioning the NPP.
“This is the time to support the constituency to find its feet and prepare for the task ahead. We all have a responsibility to contribute to reclaiming the seat and returning the NPP to power in 2028,” she said.
Ms Mensah, who is seeking to become constituency Treasurer, said her aspiration is rooted in service and accountability, promising to deepen mobilisation and strengthen the party’s financial base if given the mandate.
She urged other party faithful to emulate the gesture and support constituency structures, noting that sustained grassroots investment would be key to the party’s revival.
Constituency party Chairman who received the items described the donation as timely, saying it would ease some operational burdens at the constituency office while boosting morale among grassroots activists.
Ms Mensah’s intervention comes as the NPP undertakes a nationwide internal reorganisation exercise through a phased electoral process aimed at rebuilding party structures from the polling station to the national level after the 2024 general elections defeat.
The party opened nominations for polling station executive elections from April 20 to 24, with elections expected from May 10 to 16 as part of a six-month internal electoral roadmap that will eventually lead to constituency executive elections in July and national executive polls in September.
Ms Davina Shiela Mensah’s campaign message is anchored on “Service in Humility” and “Rebuilding Hopes into Victory,”.
The aspiring Treasurer says she is ready to contribute to restoring the constituency’s fortunes and strengthening the NPP’s grassroots machinery for the battle ahead.
