The Minister of State in-charge of Special Initiatives designate, Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum will appear before the Appointments Committee of Parliament for vetting.
Mr Agyekum who is currently the Member of Parliament for Nkoranza South in the Bono East region was nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to lead some specific special projects he intends to undertake for the benefit of Ghanaian citizens.
Some of these special initiatives include the, the $10 Billion Big PUSH for infrastructure development, 24-hour economy policy, Edwuma Pa one million sustainable jobs among others.
The committee is expected to quiz the nominee on what these special initiaitives areand what he will be doing to ensure their realisation.

Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum was born on 3 December 1973 in Nkoranza in the Bono East Region of Ghana.
He attended University of Westminster in London, UK where he obtained MA in Global Business and also obtained an IMBA at International Graduate Center.
The Nkoranza South lawmaker also attended the University of Applied Science in Bremen, Germany.
He was a former Deputy Minister of Local Government. Before contesting the seat as an MP, he was the MCE for Nkoranza South Municipality from January 2009 to January 2013.
He was the CEO of Special Care Recruitment Consultancy in London, UK.
Hon Emmanel Agyekum was a member of the Subsidiary Legislation Committee and also a member of the Works and Housing Committee.
