Ronaldo Delivers at Last as Al Nassr Clinch Saudi League Crown

Cristiano Ronaldo finally fulfilled his long-awaited dream of conquering Saudi football after firing Al Nassr to the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League title on a dramatic final day of the season.

The Portuguese superstar produced a captain’s performance, scoring twice as Al Nassr defeated Damac 4-1 in Riyadh to seal their first league championship in years and end a tense title battle with rivals Al Hilal.
Coming into the decisive encounter under enormous pressure following last week’s heartbreaking late draw against Al Hilal, Ronaldo and his teammates knew only victory would guarantee the crown. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner responded in style, inspiring Al Nassr with a clinical display that sent the packed Al-Awwal Park crowd into wild celebrations.
Sadio Mane and Kingsley Coman also got on the scoresheet, but the night belonged to Ronaldo, whose brace secured his first major domestic league title since moving to Saudi Arabia in 2023.
The triumph completed an emotional journey for the veteran icon, who endured several near misses, injuries and criticism during his first seasons in the Middle East. Ronaldo was visibly emotional after the final whistle, celebrating passionately with teammates and supporters after finally ending Al Nassr’s long wait for league glory.
Al Nassr’s title-winning campaign was built on consistency and attacking football, with the club recording one of the league’s longest winning streaks of the season. Ronaldo once again led from the front, finishing among the league’s top scorers while continuing his remarkable pursuit of 1,000 career goals.
The victory also represents another historic milestone in Ronaldo’s glittering career, adding the Saudi Pro League title to league triumphs already won in England, Spain and Italy.
For Al Nassr fans, the success marks the return of domestic supremacy. For Ronaldo, it is further proof that even at 41, he remains one of football’s defining figures.
