Biakoye MP Jean-Marie Formadi Pays Tribute to Workers on International Labour Day

The Member of Parliament for Biakoye, Jean-Marie Formadi, has paid glowing tribute to Ghanaian workers in recognition of their immense contributions to national development as the country joined the rest of the world to mark the International Workers’ Day.

In a message to commemorate the occasion, Ms Formadi applauded the dedication, resilience and hard work of men and women across various sectors of the economy, describing them as the driving force behind Ghana’s growth and progress.

She acknowledged the sacrifices made daily by workers, noting that their commitment continues to sustain families, communities and the nation at large.

Hon Formadi also expressed her goodwill to workers, offering prayers for renewed strength and success in their endeavours. She conveyed hope that their efforts would yield meaningful and rewarding outcomes, while encouraging them to remain steadfast in their contributions to national development.

International Labour Day, observed annually on May 1, serves as a global platform to honour workers and reflect on labour rights, productivity and the role of the workforce in shaping sustainable economies.

The Biakoye MP’s message forms part of a broader wave of tributes from leaders across the country, recognising the critical role of Ghanaian workers in driving socio-economic transformation.
