Eben-Kay Hodo to Champion “Structural Reset” Agenda as Secretary-General of NDC ProForum

As momentum builds toward the 6th Annual Summit of the National Democratic Congress Professionals Forum (NDC- ProForum), aspiring Secretary-General Eben-Kay Kwabena Hodo is stepping up his campaign with a strong call for unity, participation, and reform.

In a press statement issued by Team Hodo, the campaign described the upcoming Congress as the “heartbeat” of the Forum — a decisive platform where members reaffirm unity, exchange ideas, and determine the organisation’s future direction.
The statement urged Regional Coordinators (RCs) and members nationwide to prioritise attendance, stressing that participation is both a responsibility and an opportunity to influence the Forum’s transformation.
“Congress is not complete without you,” the statement emphasised, adding that every member’s presence signals a commitment to building a stronger and more responsive Proforum.
Central to Mr. Hodo’s campaign is his flagship message of “Structural Reset and Opportunities,” which he says will reposition the Forum to better serve its members.
His vision includes resetting internal structures, renewing unity across all regions, and creating new avenues for professional growth and engagement.
The campaign also highlights key pillars such as inclusiveness for every RC and region, as well as a renewed focus on transparency and accountability in leadership.
According to Team Hodo, these principles are essential to restoring confidence and strengthening the Forum’s role within the broader National Democratic Congress.
Beyond reform, the campaign is anchored on the broader theme “One Forum, One Future,” reflecting a push to bridge gaps within the organisation and foster a shared sense of purpose among members.
Team Hodo’s emphasis on mobilisation and structural renewal signals a strategic effort to galvanise grassroots support ahead of the Congress, where leadership decisions and policy directions will be shaped.
With the race for Secretary-General intensifying, Mr. Hodo’s message of unity, inclusiveness, and opportunity appears aimed at consolidating support while presenting a forward-looking vision for the Professionals Forum.
The statement concluded with a rallying call for members to “show up, stand together, and help reset the Forum for a future of renewed unity, transparency, and opportunity.”
