Betty Seyram Krosbi Mensah Readies to Serve as NDC National Women’s Organiser

Former Member of Parliament for Afram Plains North, Hon. Mrs. Seyram Betty Krosbi Mensah, has reaffirmed her readiness to serve the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as National Women’s Organiser, pledging a leadership anchored on service, integrity, inclusion and results.
In a campaign message ahead of the party’s internal elections, Mrs. Krosbi Mensah presents herself as “a leader who serves and a leader who delivers,” highlighting her years of dedication to the NDC and her commitment to empowering women across all levels of the party.
The former legislator says her leadership philosophy is rooted in the belief that true leadership is measured not by titles but by service, integrity and tangible results. According to her, these values have guided her political journey and public service throughout the years.
Mrs. Krosbi Mensah also points to what she describes as her long-standing commitment to the NDC, recalling her early involvement in advancing the party’s ideals alongside her late father before going on to serve as Member of Parliament. She believes those experiences have equipped her with the practical knowledge and leadership skills needed to strengthen the Women’s Wing.
Positioning herself as a unifier, she says she is stepping forward to serve once again by bringing experience, vision, renewed energy and an unwavering commitment to every woman in the NDC, irrespective of branch, constituency or region.
“My promise is simple: I will not let you down,” she declares, assuring delegates that her leadership will be action-oriented and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes rather than empty rhetoric.
Mrs. Krosbi Mensah says her vision is to build an inclusive Women’s Wing that leaves no woman behind while strengthening grassroots mobilisation, enhancing women’s participation in decision-making and positioning the party’s female members for greater political opportunities.
She maintains that the Women’s Wing requires purposeful leadership capable of inspiring confidence, fostering unity and delivering results that benefit women across the country.
Describing the moment as an opportunity for renewal, the National Women’s Organiser hopeful says the time has come for delegates to entrust the Women’s Wing to capable hands that will champion fresh ideas, renewed energy and dedicated service.
She concludes that she is ready to serve, ready to deliver and ready to lead, expressing confidence that her record of service and commitment to the party make her well-positioned to advance the interests of women within the National Democratic Congress.
