The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North Constituency, Ewurabena Aubynn, in collaboration with the Ablekuma North Education Directorate, will on Tuesday, May 12, officially unveil a renovated Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Laboratory at Saleria “1” Basic School.
The unveiling ceremony, scheduled at the school premises in Odorkor, forms part of efforts to strengthen digital learning and equip students with relevant technological skills for the future.
The event is expected to be attended by the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George, alongside government officials, education stakeholders, community leaders and members of the public.
According to organisers, the renovated ICT laboratory has been supported with laptops through the 1 Million Coders Initiative, reflecting a shared commitment to expanding access to technology and creating opportunities for young learners within the municipality.
The initiative is expected to improve ICT education in the school and expose students to practical digital learning tools that will enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
Madam Aubynn has consistently emphasised the importance of education and digital transformation as critical drivers of youth empowerment and community development in the Ablekuma North area.
The MP has therefore invited residents, stakeholders and the general public to participate in the ceremony as the constituency marks another milestone in educational development.
