The strong partnership between the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North, Ewurabena Aubynn, and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Adamu Musah Kalamu is increasingly being hailed by residents as a model for effective local governance and constituency development.
The two leaders have consistently demonstrated unity in advancing development initiatives within the constituency, frequently appearing together at community engagements and public programmes aimed at improving the lives of residents.
Prior to their recent visit to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centres across the constituency, the MP and the MCE jointly participated in another major empowerment initiative focused on skills development and youth employment.

In collaboration with the Awula Foundation, the Office of the MP presented essential tools and equipment to apprentices and master craft facilitators in Ablekuma North as part of efforts to reinforce government’s National Apprenticeship Programme.
The initiative was aimed at equipping young people with practical vocational skills while supporting artisans and trainers who continue to play a vital role in technical and skills development within the constituency.
Residents and beneficiaries described the programme as a timely intervention that would help empower the youth economically and promote self-employment opportunities.
The visible collaboration between the MP and the MCE during the programme further highlighted the growing synergy between the political and administrative leadership of the municipality.
Days later, the two officials again joined forces during the ongoing BECE examinations, leading a delegation to tour examination centres across Ablekuma North to monitor the conduct of the exams and encourage candidates.
The delegation, which included the Presiding Member and the Municipal Coordinating Director, was received by the Municipal Director of Education, together with the Public Relations Officer and the Head of Examinations.
During the engagement, education officials briefed the team on arrangements put in place to ensure a smooth and successful examination process.
Hon. Ewurabena Aubynn interacted warmly with candidates, invigilators and teachers, encouraging the students to remain focused and confident while commending education officials for their dedication and professionalism.
She reiterated her commitment to improving education and youth development in Ablekuma North, stressing that investing in young people remains central to the transformation agenda of the constituency.
Observers within the municipality say the continued collaboration between the MP and the MCE is helping to strengthen coordination, improve service delivery and build public confidence in local leadership.
Residents have expressed optimism that the strong working relationship between the two officials will accelerate development and create more opportunities for the people of Ablekuma North.
