The Chief of Staff at the Office of the President, Julius Debrah has held a hearing with Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board, Sammy Gyamfi over a viral video showing the later gifting what is believed to be an undisclosed sm of dollar denominated cash to controversial former priestess, now evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
The widely circulated footage shows Mr Gyamfi handing over an undisclosed sum of money, believed to be in U.S. dollars, to the controversial evangelist.
The widely circulated footage caused a wide spread public condemnation.
According to sources at the Jubilee Hose, the meeting with Chief of Staff held behind closed doors at the Jubilee House afforded Mr Debrah the opportunity to understand at first hand circumstances leading the nfortunate incident.
The meeting according to the sources discussed how to address the concerns being raised by the public.
Mr Julius Debrah is expected to brief President John Mahama, who is currently in Lomé, Togo, attending the African Union Commission Debt Conference for an appropriate action.
