In a message to commemorate the day, the MP celebrated the strength, resilience, intelligence and compassion of women, noting that women continue to break barriers and inspire change in families, communities and nations.
According to her, the contributions of women remain central to social progress and national development, and therefore deserve continuous recognition and support.
“Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, intelligence and compassion of women everywhere. Women continue to break barriers, inspire change and shape our families, communities and the world with courage and determination,” she stated.
The Ablekuma North legislator also used the occasion to pray for a world where every woman and girl would have equal opportunities to thrive, lead and make their voices heard.
She further encouraged women to continue supporting and uplifting one another while working collectively toward a more inclusive society.
“May we continue to uplift, support and empower one another while working toward a world where every woman and girl has the opportunity to thrive, lead and be heard,” she added.
