The Ghana National Gas Company limited has held a familiarization meeting with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Energy at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, as part of its annual stakeholder engagement efforts to deepen collaboration and enhance parliamentary oversight.

Addressing the gathering, CEO of Ghana Gas, Judith Adjobah Blay, expressed appreciation to the Committee for prioritizing the engagement and underscored the value of open dialogue between Parliament and the company, stressing that such collaboration is essential for effective policy direction and long-term energy stability.
Madam Blay briefed the Committee on recent operational milestones, including the early completion of the August plant shutdown, and outlined five new strategic focus areas shaping the company’s next phase of operations. She further highlighted major upcoming infrastructure initiatives, including a proposed new gas processing plant and planned pipeline expansions.
Chairperson of the Committee, Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, commended Ghana Gas for its commitment to transparency and consistent engagement with stakeholders. He reaffirmed Parliament’s support in advancing legislation and policies that will strengthen Ghana’s energy sector and sustain the company’s progress.
