Hon Ophelia Hayford Mensah Donates To Saltpond Government Hospital

In fulfillment of her commitment to the healthcare needs of  her people, the sick and care for the less privilege in society, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mfantseman, Ophelia Hayford Mensah has presented health related equipment, toiletries and food items to the Saltpond Government Hospital.

The donation was to celebrate the birthday of a cerebral palsy child, Afia Aseda Akonor who has been adopted by the MP.

Items donated includes baby walkers, plastic chairs, sitting/standing frames, gyms balls, insecticides, toiletries such as detergents, bars of soap., parazone, and baby diapers.

The rest include sleeping mats, toilet rolls, tissue papers, biscuits and assorted soft drinks.

The Mfantseman lawmaker in an interview with NR NEWS at the sidelines of the presentation said she finds it a duty to care for the sick and those who do not have hence the gesture.

She encourage all to offer assistance in whatever little they can to make the world a better place for all.

Parents and management of the Hospital expressed gratitude to the MP for her continues support whiles asking for more to help improve health delivery in the area.
