GOIL PLC has rolled out a significant fuel price reduction at 150 selected retail outlets nationwide, bringing the price of petrol down to a historic single-digit level of GH¢9.99 per litre in a move aimed at easing transport and cost-of-living pressures.
The reduction, which takes effect today, Friday, January 16, 2026, also sees diesel (AGO) selling at GH¢11.21 per litre at the designated stations. Members of the public are encouraged to consult the full list below to confirm whether their nearest GOIL outlet is among those offering the revised prices.
According to the company, the initiative is deliberately targeted at stations located near major transport corridors, commercial vehicle terminals and high-traffic hubs to maximise its impact on commuters, traders and transport operators.
The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GOIL PLC, Edward Abambire Bawa, explained that the selection of stations was strategic.
“The price reduction applies to strategically selected GOIL stations located closer to commercial vehicle terminals and major transport corridors across the country, to ensure that the benefits of the reduction are passed on directly to commuters, transport operators, traders and consumers,” he said.
To support easy access, GOIL has published a comprehensive zonal breakdown of all 150 retail outlets offering the reduced prices.

Mr Bawa noted that the price adjustment was made possible by improving macroeconomic conditions and is consistent with GOIL’s mandate as a national energy company to support economic stability. He added that the gains reflect what he described as sound economic management at the national level.
GOIL is therefore urging motorists, particularly commercial transport operators—to patronise the designated stations and take advantage of the reduced fuel prices, as the company continues to play its part in supporting mobility, commerce and national development through responsible pricing.
