Sebastian Deh Reaffirms Commitment to Kpando Development After One Year in Parliament

The Member of Parliament for Kpando, Sebastian Deh, has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive and people-centred development, marking one year since he was sworn into office with a detailed account of achievements across education, health, infrastructure and youth empowerment.
In a statement issued on January 8, 2026, the MP expressed gratitude to constituents for their support and trust, describing the first year of his tenure as a period of measurable progress driven by collaboration and unity of purpose.
According to Hon. Deh, significant gains have been recorded in the education sector, including the completion of the Kpando Gabi Primary School block. He said his office also supported several young people to acquire apprenticeship skills, facilitated enrolment into Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes at KPANTECH, and awarded scholarships and bursaries to deserving students at both pre-tertiary and tertiary levels. In addition, more than 2,000 basic school pupils benefited from educational materials and financial support.
The MP attributed these outcomes to effective collaboration between his office, the Kpando Municipal Chief Executive, traditional authorities and other stakeholders, noting that the coordinated approach has improved service delivery across the municipality.
In the health sector, Hon. Deh announced the completion of a health centre at Kpando Dzigbe and the construction of nurses’ quarters at Kpando Togorme. He added that healthcare services have also been strengthened at facilities in Aziave and other communities within the municipality.
On infrastructure development, the MP disclosed that his office, working with the Municipal Assembly, has undertaken extensive reshaping and upgrading of key arterial roads. He further indicated that ongoing collaboration with state agencies is expanding water services across the municipality and extending telephony services to previously underserved communities.
Hon. Deh also highlighted the implementation of government flagship initiatives, including Adwumawura and Nkokɔnkɔkiti, alongside other youth-focused employment and empowerment programmes, aimed at addressing unemployment and enhancing livelihoods.
“These accomplishments demonstrate what is possible when leadership is united and the people are placed at the centre of development,” the MP said, pledging to continue serving with integrity, humility and accountability.
Looking ahead, Hon. Deh outlined education and skills development, agribusiness, and water and sanitation as his key priorities for the coming years. He said these areas align with the Resetting Agenda of President John Dramani Mahama and the broader national framework of “Resetting Ghana for Growth, Jobs, and Economic Transformation.”
He called on residents of the Kpando Constituency to sustain their support as efforts continue to build a more prosperous future for the area, expressing optimism that collective commitment would deliver lasting development outcomes.
