The Deputy Minister-Designate for Roads and Highways, Alhassan Suhuyini has on behalf of the chiefs of Dagbon in a symbolic gesture, presented traditional smocks to each member of the Appointments Committee of Parliament when he appeared before the committee on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
The Tamale North Member of Parliament made the gesture as he thanked the committee after answering questions from members concerning the Roads and Highways sector.
“In the spirit of accountability, permit me to announce that my revered chiefs brought you a smock for me to present on your behalf, and the same will be provided for all members of this committee so that in your next sitting, perhaps you all will be dressed in a Dagbon smock,” he stated.
The deputy minister designate answered several questions on what advice he would be giving his Boss when approved by the House.
