The Ministers of Lands and Natural Resources and Environment, Science, and Technology, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah and Murtala Mohammed are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to restore polluted water bodies to their natural states.
The two sector ministers who are vigorously pursuing president John Dramani Mahama’s vision to restore sanity to the country’s mining sector have proactively engaged with Diotin Technologies, a global leader in advanced chemical solutions to help return river bodies devastated by activities of illegal mining to normalcy n line with government’s Blue Water Initiative.
The engagement with Diotin Technologies aims to explore workable partnerships in addressing the severe environmental degradation caused by galaseyers to nation’s water bodies.
Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah expressed enthusiasm for the initiative and urged the team to work closely with the ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology, local communities and key stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

Managing Director of Diotin UAE, Oliver Edwards, highlighted the company’s state-of-the-art chemical technology, which can be utilized to implement advanced oxidation and biocide water treatment processes. This innovative method ensures comprehensive water purification, capable of transforming contaminated water into a safe and sustainable resource.
“Our cutting-edge technology is designed to purify polluted water within an impressive 90-day timeframe, making it safe for both human consumption and the preservation of aquatic ecosystems,” Edwards explained.
