Independent Power Generators (IPGG) in Ghana have extended their unalloyed support for the John Mahama led government in its efforts to provide stable and affordable electricity supply to all residents in the country.
A statement signed by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IPGG, Elikplim Apetorgbor, pledged to work closely with the Minister of Energy-Designate, John Abdulai Jinapor, to achieve shared objectives such as sustainable energy generation, renewable energy promotion, and resolving financial and policy challenges in the sector.
““We believe that Mr. Jinapor’s pragmatic approach and expertise will contribute significantly to the creation of a resilient and reliable energy ecosystem for Ghana,” the statement noted.
The power generators acknowledged Mr. Jinapor’s pragmatic approach, deep expertise, and commitment to innovation and sustainability, as demonstrated during his vetting process.
“As a critical stakeholder in the energy industry, we are confident his leadership will bring a renewed focus and drive toward addressing the challenges confronting the power sector”, it added,” it added.
IPGG also extends congratulations to Mr. Jinapor on his nomination and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting his vision for Ghana’s energy future.
