Humility and Hardwork Will Keep Me in Parliament for Long- Tano South MP

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tano South, Charles Asiedu has declared that if it takes humility and the hardwork for the development of a community for a lawmaker to be re-elected, then it will require the use of a bulldozer to uproot him from the seat in subsequent elections.

Speaking in an interview with NR NEWS on the sidelines of the First Sitting of the Second Meeting of the First Session of the Nith Parliament, the young and determined looking first term MP expressed a heartfelt appreciation to the people of the Tano South constituency and assured of his readiness to fulfil all his campaign promises to each community visited.

According to him, his humble nature and commitment to deliver on his pledges to the people will make it difficult for anybody else to beat him when the comes for him to seek re-election after four years.

Mr Asiedu said he will fulfil his promises with what his personal resources can afford and with other statutory funds due him as a lawmaker.

When this is done, he is optimistic the people of Tano South will appreciate and reward him in reprocity.

“If takes humility and development to serve as an MP, then a Bulldozer would be used to remove me”, Hon Asiedu stated.

He also indicated his readiness to learn the rules of engagement to become an effective lawmaker describing Parliament as ‘an institution for learning’.

He prayed for God’s guidance and spirit of humility to learn and serve his constituents, the people of Tano South well.
